Within Avular, the office manager plays a crucial role in the organization. We are looking for someone who is excited about organizing various events for our people and for external parties. We are a fast-growing high-tech scale-up from Eindhoven.   • A spontaneous and enthusiastic personality, with at least a secondary vocational diploma
  • At least available for 24 hours per week
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, able to work independent and not afraid to be decisive in your daily activities
  • Social and empathetic
  • Excellent organizational skills, accurate and able to deal with deadlines
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English (speaking and writing)
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience as office manager is a plus


  • Take a leading role in organizing team building activities with our Team Onion Committee, such as Friday afternoon drinks, team events, lunches and other fun activities for our team
  • Organizing events for internal and/or external parties in our own office and help with organizing Avular events at multiple locations
  • Calendar management, where you ensure the prevention of double-booked meeting rooms
  • Ensure that the office is always tidy and welcoming (not necessarily by doing it all yourself), including the meetings rooms, and be the point of contact for our cleaning company
  • Manage incoming and outgoing communication such as telephone, email and post at the reception and welcome our guests with something to drink
  • Proactively order office supplies (think of pens, cartridges etc.) to ensure everything is in stock; ordering personnel gifts in consultation with HR and
    ordering groceries on a weekly basis
  • Support and perform administrative work when necessary and thereby ensuring an organized and structured environment
  • Making arrangements for internal meetings, such as ordering lunch.
