We’re looking for a technician to join the Avular Team! 

As Technician at Avular, making and shipping our beautiful products is what you do. You will be responsible for assembling our Vertex, Origin, and many more products with the right quality and within the agreed timeline. It is a hands-on job which you will do together with a team of passionate colleagues. 

YOUR MISSION

• Assembly of our products. So, you’re not afraid to mechatronic assemble modules, connect the electronics to the PCBs and flashing our software on our robots 

• Identifying tooling needs and defining these together with the Engineers 

• Test our parts, modules, and products to verify whether the production went well and make sure that feedback to the relevant stakeholders is provided, as well electronically as for the mechatronic 

• Prepare our products so they are ready for shipment, and make sure all products are shipped to the customer in time 

• Keep the workshop and prototyping lab organized and clean 

• Design and build test setups for electronics design validation together with electronics designers. 

• Operate the PCB assembly line (material preparation as well as stencil printer, SMD placer and reflow oven operation). 

• Help with setting up production tests for our electronics. 

• Define and write production (assembly) instructions. 

• Maintain the stock of components and prototyping tools for the electronics lab. 
  
  

WHO YOU ARE 

• You have 2+ years of experience assembling mechatronic modules/systems 

• You’re precise and well-organized 

• You’re able to provide feedback on challenges and inconveniences during assembly 

• An understanding of electronics engineering (design and test) as well as the ability to discuss and collaborate with mechanical and mechatronics engineers. Working proficiency in both spoken and written English 

• Experience with PCB assembly is a bonus
