We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join the Avular Team!

YOUR MISSION

• Can design and develop mechanical systems, which includes technical drawings & renderings; writing requirements and integrating basic electronic components. Knows about the principles of Design for Test (DfT) and Design for Manufacturing (DfM); Experience with advanced techniques such as thermal management, structural analysis, and vibration control.

• Can mentor less experienced engineers on moderate problems

• Adheres to the design principles of Avular to ensure our aesthetics (look-and-feel), manufacturability and testability of our products

• Can review mechanical system designs from others and identify dependencies as well as potential problems

• Can create technical proposals and present them to technical and non-technical audiences, including problem statement and solution alternatives

• Is comfortable with version control

• Draws high-quality 3D CAD files, including advanced assemblies, with well-structured design documentation

• Can collaborate with other disciplines to provide the desired solution even if this is not the field of mechanical, being aware of the dependencies on other disciplines and the effect of their own work

WHO YOU ARE 

• At least a relevant technical Bachelor's degree

• In general, more than 4 years of relevant professional working experience

• Working proficiency in both spoken and written English

• Strong proficiency in working with CAD programs such as NX (preferred), SolidWorks and/or CATIA
